I love this one so much I thought it deserved it’s own post 😉 Carrying on this tradition since 2016 has been great fun and whilst we’ve made a few tweaks to the award along the way, the essence of why the award is given is still the same. It’s not given out for being good at sport, or maths, it’s for being a general all-round decent human, and for embodying the school value of ‘not self but service’. Only 2 kids receive this each term (out of a school of around 1000 kids!), – they get a framed certificate, a book and a $20 Warehouse voucher, plus the school library gets a copy of the same book. It is just awesome presenting this to these deserving kids.
