In This Week’s Market Wrap:
– Farewell to Dylan Mika
– Clearance rates drop to around 30%
– Feature property 100 Shakespeare Lane – view here
This week it is with great sadness that we farewell a great man. Our condolences go out to the Mika family, and to the many, many people that he touched during his far too short life with us. You will be heavily missed.
Auction Rates
We hit a wee bump in the road last week, following weeks of consistency in what has, to be fair, been a pretty stable & solid market these past months – last week clearance rates dropped to around 30% out of 71 auctions called.
This is the lowest this year but it also isn’t really in line with anything else we’ve been seeing, and with Easter upon us we won’t see a fair representation of rates next week, so we’re calling this a blip in the road like the many we had last year, and moving on.
